Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for “Venom: The Last Dance,” the concluding film in the Venom trilogy. Tom Hardy returns as Eddie Brock, the journalist bonded with the alien symbiote, Venom.

The plot follows Eddie and Venom on the run, hunted by forces from both Earth and Venom’s home planet. Faced with mounting threats, they must make a significant decision that marks the end of their story.

The trailer showcases intense symbiote battles and a unique scene where Eddie rides a super-fast, Venom-infused horse.

Joining Hardy in the cast is Juno Temple, known for her role in “Ted Lasso,” and Chiwetel Ejiofor, famous for his role as “Mordo” in MCU. Other cast members include Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Stephen Graham, Alanna Ubach, and Cristo Fernández.

Kelly Marcel, who co-wrote the previous Venom films, is making her directorial debut with this instalment. She co-wrote the screenplay with Hardy and also serves as a producer alongside Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker​.

“Venom: The Last Dance” is set for release in theatres on October 25, 2024. This final chapter is anticipated to tie up the narrative threads from the previous films, potentially exploring the multiverse connections hinted at in “Spider-Man: No Way Home”​.
