The highly anticipated “Daredevil: Born Again” series has a confirmed release date of March 2025 on Disney+. While initial plans differed, the show will now debut with a focus on the iconic hero’s action-packed persona.
Originally announced with an 18-episode structure, the series has been reduced to a nine-episode first season. Reports suggest a significant shift from its early conception as a courtroom drama. Sources close to the project reveal the initial plan kept Matt Murdock out of the Daredevil suit for a large portion of the season.
However, a newly unveiled logo and trailer showcased during Disney’s Upfronts presentation paint a different picture.
The trailer features Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock suiting up as Daredevil for a thrilling action sequence, accompanied by a monologue highlighting the legal system’s “David vs. Goliath” nature.

This shift in focus aligns with fan expectations and seems like a direct response to earlier rumours of a more subdued storyline. While details remain under wraps, “Daredevil: Born Again” appears primed to deliver a classic blend of legal battles and superhero action when it premieres in March 2025.
Several stars from the beloved Netflix series are also returning.
Deborah Ann Woll will once again portray Karen Page, Matt’s close friend and confidante. Elden Henson is confirmed to reprise his role as Foggy Nelson, Matt’s loyal law partner. And for those craving some Punisher action, Jon Bernthal will be back as Frank Castle!
Charlie Cox recently spoke about the physical intensity of returning to the role of Daredevil. He described the series as “really physically demanding,” which hints at plenty of action sequences, in line with earlier Netflix seasons.
Marvel has also announced the title for Agatha spin-off, Agatha All Along, and it will be released on September 18, 2024.
