Story Overview

Set in Kunitachi, Tokyo, the series follows Reiko Hōshō as she navigates her dual life as a detective and the daughter of a powerful conglomerate. She works under Inspector Kazamatsuri but often relies on her butler, Kageyama, who provides biting commentary alongside brilliant deductions to solve complex mysteries. The story balances humor, wit, and intricate case-solving

Originally published in 2007, the novel series has previously inspired a stage play, a live-action TV drama (2011), specials, and a 2013 film. This will be the first anime adaptation, a move that aims to bring the charm and intrigue of the novels to a broader audience.
