Special Fire Force Company 8 is set to make its fiery return as “Fire Force” Season 3 officially lands on Crunchyroll in April 2025. Announced during Crunchyroll’s Anime Expo 2024 industry panel, this season will be split into two cours, with the first cour releasing in April 2025 and the second cour in Janaury 2026 which will conclude the series.
To celebrate the announcement, Crunchyroll released a special trailer. The trailer features a thrilling showdown between devious-looking moon, Arthur and Shinra, hinting at more intense battles. Alongside the trailer, a brand-new key visual was revealed, heightening the excitement for fans.

In addition to the release date and trailer, it was confirmed that “Fire Force” Season 3 will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll, joining the first two seasons of this adaptation.
“Fire Force” Season 3 will be accessible to a wide audience, streaming on Crunchyroll across various territories, including North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
A Synopsis
“Fire Force” is set in a world where spontaneous human combustion turns ordinary citizens into violent, flame-wielding beings. The Fire Force, a special firefighting team, is tasked with extinguishing these infernos and uncovering the truth behind this mysterious phenomenon. Protagonist Shinra Kusakabe, known for his devil’s footprints, joins Company 8 in their mission to protect Tokyo from burning to ashes.
As the series progresses, Shinra and his comrades confront increasingly powerful foes and unravel the dark secrets of their world. The new season promises to delve deeper into these mysteries, bringing more high-stakes action and emotional moments.

Production and Creative Team
The first season of “Fire Force” was directed by Yuki Yase at David Production (known for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure), with series composition by Yamato Haishima and character designs by Hideyuki Morioka.
Tatsuma Minamikawa took over as director and series composer for the second season, which aired in 2020. The third season is expected to continue with the same high-quality production and storytelling that fans have come to love.
