Celebrating the seventh anniversary of Reiji Miyajima’s beloved Rent-a-Girlfriend manga, fans received thrilling news on Thursday: the series will return with its fourth TV anime season, scheduled for release in 2025!
A special announcement video has been released, teasing an adventurous trip to Hawaiians for Kazuya, Chizuru, and the rest of the gang. Alongside the announcement video, a commemorative visual drawn by Miyajima himself was unveiled, featuring the two main characters, with Chizuru cheerfully holding up four fingers to signify the upcoming season.

The original Rent-a-Girlfriend manga, serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine since July 12, 2017, has enjoyed immense popularity with over 36 collected volumes released to date. The franchise has also seen three successful TV anime adaptations, a live-action drama series, and a crossover smartphone game
The latest anime installment, directed by Shinya Une at TMS Entertainment, recently concluded its broadcast during the Summer 2023 season.

“Kinoshita Kazuya, a struggling college student haunted by past relationships, decides to try a unique method to find love. His life takes a turn when he meets Mizuhara Chizuru, a beautiful girl with beautiful long black hair, through a rental service.
