With the broadcast of its Episode 148 in Japan today, the official website and social media accounts for the My Hero Academia anime have revealed exciting new details about the theme songs for the second cour of Season 7.
New Opening and Ending Songs
The new opening song, titled “Curtain Call” by Yuuri (known for the ending theme of SK8 the Infinity), will replace “Tagatame” by TK from Ling tosite sigure.
The ending theme, “Rokutosei” by Zarame, will take over from “Tsubomi” by Omoinotake. Fans can expect these fresh tracks to bring a new energy to the series.

Official Covers and Creditless Sequences
Alongside the announcement, the covers for the new opening and ending songs were revealed:
Opening Song Cover: “Curtain Call” by Yuuri
Ending Song Cover: “Rokutosei” by Zarame
Additionally, creditless versions of the accompanying sequences were released following today’s episode broadcast, offering fans a clear and uninterrupted view of the new animations.

Series Continuity
The production team for My Hero Academia remains strong with Kenji Nagasaki acting as Chief Director for Season 7, and Naomi Nakayama in the director’s chair at studio BONES. Yusuke Kuroda continues to handle series composition and scripts, while Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima manage character designs. The music is composed by Yuki Hayashi.
