The final trailer for “Deadpool & Wolverine” showed us a different side to the movie from the usual fun and comedic side. The trailer is a lot more emotional and finally confirms that Dafne Keen is returning as X-23 (from Logan).
The trailer also shows a complete look at the Lady Deadpool and some other Deadpool variants. Now that we have seen Lady Deadpool, we have to wait a week to know who is playing her; is it Taylor Swift or Blake Lively? Or Ryan Reynolds wearing a wig?
However, the biggest reveal was the appearance of X-23, the child mutant from “Logan”. The Wolverine in the movie is not the version that died in Logan but some other version so it will be interesting to see how X-23 gets involved in the movie.

Dafne Keen was really good at misdirecting the press about her role in the movie as she has denied her involvement several times.
Of course it’s sad. I love Hugh and creatively, I love Ryan [Reynolds] and I love Shawn [Levy],” Keen said. “I’m really excited to see what they’ve made. I think Shawn is one of the best directors out there right now. Obviously, Ryan’s a legend. It would have been amazing to be part of it, but I’ll just go watch it as a fan, to see my old buddy in it.

Insider reports and scoops suggest that Dafne Keen will have more than just a cameo. She will be in a supporting role, maybe like what Andrew Garfield and Toby Maguire had in “Spider-Man: No Way Home”.
The trailer also makes us emotional and nostalgic with footage from the earlier X-Men movies and “Logan”. The trailer also opens up in a forest, most probably, the one where Wolverine is laid to rest in “Logan”.
The trailer is all about Wolverine coming around to actually wanting to help Deadpool. The movie is only a few days away now. The fact that such an important cameo was shown in the trailer suggests that the movie is hiding a lot more bombastic cameos and appearances. While many fans were not too happy about revealing her cameo in a trailer, I can only wonder what other surprises they are hiding.
The Deadpool & Wolverine is releasing on July 26 and here is the final trailer.
