The Rogue Prince of Persia Release Delayed to May 27 because of Hades 2

The release of The Rogue Prince of Persia, developed by Evil Empire, is delayed to avoid clashing with the popular Hades 2, allowing additional polish.

Update: The Early Access date has been updated to May 27

The Rogue Prince of Persia was supposed to be released on May 14 but it looks like the release will be delayed. The developer, Evil Empire is known for Dead Cells and Return to Castlevania has decided to delay the release because of the release of Hades 2.

Hades 2 and The Rogue Prince of Persia are of the same genre and Hades 2 is all the rage in this past week. Even though it is in early access, it has gained great reception among players.

From what we have seen, The Rogue Prince of Persia seems to be a good game and it would be a shame for it to go unnoticed because of all the hype surrounding Hades 2.

The developers are aware of the popularity of Hades 2 and they are going to release the game in May but a definitive date hasn’t been decided yet.

Developers also acknowledged the fact that it would give them a little more time to work out all the kinks and make the game even more polished.
