Marvel Studios has cast a legendary villain for their highly anticipated reboot of the Fantastic Four. Acclaimed actor Ralph Ineson will portray the planet-devouring entity Galactus, according to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter.

Ralph Ineson, known for his roles in “The Witch” and “Game of Thrones,” will play the cosmic villain, Galactus in the MCU.

Galactus is a complex character in the Marvel Universe, not simply a mindless destroyer. He is a cosmic entity driven by a hunger that compels him to consume planets to sustain his very existence.

This creates a moral dilemma, as Galactus serves as a force of balance in the universe, even as his actions threaten countless civilizations.

Fantastic Four is slated to release on July 25, 2025 and is planned to start its shooting soon in the mid-summer season. Other confirmed casting for Fantastic Four are:

• Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic: Pedro Pascal will portray the brilliant scientist leader of the Fantastic Four.
• Sue Storm/Invisible Woman: Vanessa Kirby will take on the role of the powerful and strategic Invisible Woman.
• Johnny Storm/Human Torch: Joseph Quinn is set to play Sue’s impulsive and fiery brother, Human Torch.
• Ben Grimm/The Thing: Ebon Moss-Bachrach will portray the gruff but loyal Thing, who grapples with his physical transformation.
• Silver Surfer: In a surprising twist, Julia Garner will depict a female version of the enigmatic Silver Surfer.
• Undisclosed Role: Speculation swirls around Paul Walter Hauser‘s character, with some suggesting he might be the subterranean villain Mole Man or the robotic companion H.E.R.B.I.E.
• Another Mystery Role: Adding to the intrigue, veteran actor John Malkovich has also been cast in an undisclosed role.
