Marvel Studios releases the first teaser for “Captain America: Brave New World,” revealing the role of Giancarlo as G.W. Bridge and Red Hulk.

Marvel Studios has released the first teaser trailer for “Captain America: Brave New World,” offering a glimpse into Sam Wilson’s upcoming adventure. Anthony Mackie reprises his role as the new Captain America.

The trailer begins with a tense scene in the White House, where Sam encounters the newly-elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, portrayed by Harrison Ford in his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. This role was previously played by the late William Hurt.

President Ross and Sam share a complicated history, as Ross, in his former role as Secretary of State, arrested Sam and his fellow Avengers during “Captain America: Civil War.” Now, Ross aims to make Captain America an official military role and seeks to collaborate with Sam.

However, their fragile alliance faces a severe test when Sam is drawn into an international incident, with retired super-soldier Isaiah Bradley (Carl Lumbly) emerging as the primary suspect. Sam’s pursuit of the truth leads him into a perilous chase, climaxing in a dramatic showdown that hints at the emergence of the Red Hulk.

Alongside the trailer, Marvel has also unveiled a new poster for the film.

The teaser also features familiar characters: Danny Ramirez returns as Joaquin Torres, now the new Falcon, and Tim Blake Nelson reprises his role as Samuel Sterns, also known as The Leader, marking his first appearance in the MCU since 2008’s “The Incredible Hulk.”

New additions to the cast include Shira Haas as Ruth Bat-Seraph, a former Black Widow turned high-ranking U.S. government official trusted by President Ross. The film also stars Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, and Xosha Roquemore. Giancarlo is playing G.W Bridge, a high-ranking officer SHIELD, and has ties to the Cable and the X-Force.

Fans had been hoping to see Giancarlo play a major villain in the MCU so this is quite disappointing. However, we do not know how many projects this character will be involved in and how the character will play out in the MCU.

Directed by Julius Onah and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore, with Louis D’Esposito and Charles Newirth as executive producers, “Captain America: Brave New World” promises an exciting new chapter in the MCU.
