We have our first look at promo art for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, thanks to @elreportedehoy on X. The promo art shows the titular team of the Fantastic Four in a very “comic book-y” appearance, on exclusive stickers available at the Disney Celebra Christmas concert in Argentina.

The artwork showcases Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing.

In the image, Pascal’s Reed Richards stands at the forefront with arms crossed. Kirby’s Sue Storm is positioned above Richards’ shoulder, her hand extended with a swirling energy effect, hinting at her powers. Film Synopsis and Setting

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set against a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic backdrop, introducing Marvel’s First Family as they confront the cosmic entity Galactus and his enigmatic herald, the Silver Surfer.

The film aims to balance the team’s superhero duties with their familial bonds, offering a fresh narrative that diverges from traditional origin stories. Director Matt Shakman has emphasized that the movie will not serve as an origin tale, stating, “One of the ways we’re making it our own thing is we’re not telling the story of them going up and being changed.”

Additional Cast and Production Details

The film features Ralph Ineson as Galactus and Julia Garner as Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer. Production commenced in July 2024 at Pinewood Studios in London, with costume design by Alexandra Byrne and production design by Kasra Farahani. Filming wrapped up in November 2024, as confirmed by Joseph Quinn, who mentioned that production was nearing completion.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is slated to premiere on July 25, 2025, marking the MCU debut of Marvel’s First Family.
