Bandai Namco Entertainment has just released the highly anticipated trailer for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, the latest addition to the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series. The trailer promises exciting new game modes and features that are sure to thrill fans worldwide.

New Game Modes

The trailer highlights several innovative game modes that add depth and excitement to the Dragon Ball gaming experience:

Episode Battle: In this single-player mode, players can explore the storylines of eight different characters. This mode allows for “what if” scenarios, offering fresh takes on classic Dragon Ball tales. Imagine how the story could change with different choices!

Custom Battles: Creativity takes center stage as players can design their own battle scenarios. These custom battles can be shared online, allowing the community to engage with and enjoy unique challenges. Additionally, Bonus Battles crafted by the developers provide ready-made, exciting scenarios to tackle.

Offline Local Multiplayer: For those who love playing with friends, this mode offers local multiplayer battles set in the iconic Hyperbolic Time Chamber arena.

The game boasts an impressive roster of 24 announced characters, featuring beloved heroes and formidable foes. Among them are Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and Trunks in their various forms.

The Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series, known as Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! in Japan, has been a fan favorite since its debut in 2005 on the PlayStation 2.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 (Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! Neo in Japan) launched for PlayStation 2 in Japan in October 2006 and worldwide in November 2006. Its Wii version followed in North America in November 2006, Japan in January 2007, and Europe and Australia in early 2007.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! Meteor in Japan) released for PlayStation 2 and Wii in Japan in October 2007. It came to North America and Europe in late 2007 and to Australasia in early 2008.

The most recent installment, Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team, was launched in 2010 for the PlayStation Portable.
