After dominating the box office this summer, Deadpool & Wolverine is now heading to homes everywhere. Marvel’s irreverent R-rated sequel, starring Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine, will be available on digital platforms like Prime Video and Apple TV+ starting October 1, 2024. For physical media enthusiasts, the film will hit 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on October 22, 2024.
The home release will be packed with exclusive bonus content. Highlights include featurettes such as Finding Madonna: Making the Oner, where director Shawn Levy breaks down a historic scene; Practical Approach, celebrating the life and work of Marvel artist Ray Chan; and Loose Ends: The Legacy Heroes, which dives into the film’s numerous surprise cameos. Extra content will also include gag reels, deleted scenes, and commentary from Reynolds and Levy.
Exclusive versions of the film will be available in the form of SteelBooks®, offering collectible covers showcasing either Deadpool or Wolverine. Walmart will also release a special Blu-ray edition featuring an inside pop-up scene from the movie.
This release follows the movie’s massive box office success, having crossed $1.3 billion globally, making it the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time and the seventh biggest Marvel Cinematic Universe release. Fans who missed the theatrical run will get a chance to catch all the Easter eggs, including several Wolverine variants and cameos.
