Code Geass: Roze of Recapture will be streaming as 12 weekly episodes starting from June 21st


The highly anticipated sequel series, Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture, is finally set to debut on Disney+’s “Star” brand on June 21st. The anime will be released as a 12-week series, so fans can look forward to a steady stream of new episodes to keep them entertained.

This new installment in the Code Geass franchise is set to follow the story of the new protagonists, brothers Rose and Ash, also known as “Nanashi’s Mercenaries,” as they confront the Neo Britannian Empire. Their mission is to recapture Emperor Sakuya with the help of the Japanese resistance group, the Seven Radiant Stars.

It is a four-part sequel to the original Code Geass series. The anime’s first part opened in theaters in Japan on May 10. The second act will be released in theaters on June 7, the third act on July 5, and the final act on August 2.

It is directed by Yoshimitsu Ohashi, with scripts from Noboru Kimura. Character design will be done by Takahiro Kimura along with Shuichi Shimamura. MIYAVI performs the anime’s opening theme song, “Running In My Head,” while Hikari Mitsushima sings the ending theme song, “Roze (Prod. Teddyloid).”
