Experience the epic finale of Attack on Titan with the theatrical release of THE LAST ATTACK on November 8.

The epic conclusion of Attack on Titan is set to hit the big screens in Japan with a massive compilation film titled Attack on Titan The Movie: THE LAST ATTACK. Scheduled for release on November 8, 2024, in Japan, this film will combine both parts of the final season’s THE FINAL CHAPTERS into a 145-minute experience.

Directed by Yuichiro Hayashi, who also directed the original episodes, the film is designed to deliver an enhanced cinematic experience. Hayashi initially storyboarded the chapters with a movie format in mind, making this theatrical release a “dream come true” for him.

The visuals have been updated specifically for the big screen, and the audio has been upgraded to a 5.1 surround sound system, adding a new layer of immersion for fans.

The theme song for this compilation, “To You, 2,000… or… 20,000 Years From Now…,” by Linked Horizon, remains a powerful connection to the series’ core themes. This release comes on the heels of the final episode of Attack on Titan, which aired on November 4, 2024, concluding Eren’s dramatic saga.

Known in Japan as Shingeki no Kyojin, many years ago, the last remnants of humanity were forced to retreat behind the towering walls of a fortified city to escape the massive, man-eating Titans that roamed the land outside their fortress. Only the heroic members of the Scouting Legion dared to stray beyond the safety of the walls – but even those brave warriors seldom returned alive. Those within the city clung to the illusion of a peaceful existence until the day that dream was shattered, and their slim chance at survival was reduced to one horrifying choice: kill – or be devoured!
