The English dub cast for the highly anticipated anime DAN DA DAN has been revealed. Abby Trott will voice Momo, and A.J. Beckles will lend his voice to Okarun. Both actors are set to attend the premiere event at Anime NYC on August 24, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM EDT.
DAN DA DAN, adapted from Yukinobu Tatsu’s popular manga, has garnered significant attention, boasting over 370 million views on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump Plus app and more than 3.2 million volumes in print.

The anime is set to premiere in U.S. cinemas on September 13th, where fans can watch the first three episodes along with special bonus content. The series will be available on Crunchyroll and Netflix starting October 2024, with weekly simulcasts worldwide. DAN DA DAN is serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ and is available in English through VIZ Media.

Dan Da Dan Anime Synopsis
The story follows Momo, a high school girl from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult enthusiast. After Momo saves Okarun from bullies, they start talking but quickly argue—Momo believes in ghosts but not aliens, while Okarun believes in aliens but not ghosts. To settle their dispute, they each investigate paranormal locations: Momo visits an abandoned hospital with a UFO sighting, and Okarun explores a haunted tunnel.
They both encounter extraordinary paranormal events that challenge their beliefs. Amidst these encounters, Momo discovers her hidden powers, and Okarun gains the power of a curse. Together, they navigate these supernatural threats and their budding romance.
