The official website for My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: You’re Next, the fourth film in the My Hero Academia franchise, has revealed exciting new details about the upcoming movie. On Thursday, the website revealed the original villain characters and their cast, all created by the original manga creator, Kōhei Horikoshi.
Alongside these thrilling announcements, a new promotional video was released, showcasing that the film will simultaneously screen in IMAX, MX4D, 4DX, and Dolby Cinema on its opening day, August 2.

The film introduces a formidable set of original villain characters, members of a mysterious and large criminal organization known as the “Gorrini Family.” The cast for these villains includes:

The film will premiere in Japan on August 2, with TOHO International bringing the film to U.S. theaters on October 11. Fans can look forward to both English subtitles and dub releases, ensuring wide accessibility for international audiences.
The movie is directed by Tensai Okamur and produced by BONES. Returning staff members from the television series and previous films include scriptwriter Yōsuke Kuroda, character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi, and composer Yuki Hayashi. The theme song “Homunculus” will be performed by Vaundy.
Kōhei Horikoshi, the original manga creator, will serve as the general supervisor and original character designer for the film. The movie will feature an original story set around the same time as the current TV anime, depicting a society that has collapsed due to war, a mysterious giant fortress, and a man who resembles the former “Symbol of Peace.”
