Marvel Zombie will feature Thanos and newer characters like Moon Knight, Shang Chi and Blade among few others.

Marvel Zombies animated TV series was announced back in 2021 on Disney+ Day. It was scheduled to be released in 2024 but since then, there has been a massive shuffling of the project timelines.

Thanks to @rejectedscooper on X, we have a lineup of the characters that we are going to see in the Marvel Zombies. The list includes:

  • Thanos (Zombie)
  • Ms. Marvel (Survivor)
  • Shang-Chi (Survivor)
  • Ikaris (Zombie)
  • Spider-Man (Survivor)
  • Moon Knight (A New One)
  • Captain Marvel (Zombie)
  • T’Challa (Survivor)
  • Blade (Survivor)
  • Ghost (Zombie)
  • Okoye (Zombie)
  • Scarlet Witch (Zombie)
  • Yelena Belova (Survivor)
  • Agent Woo (Survivor)
  • Red Guardian (Survivor)
  • Hawkeye (Zombie)
  • Death Dealer (Survivor)
  • Katy (Survivor)
  • Abomination (Zombie)
  • Captain America(Zombie)

While the list includes a lot of returning characters from the What If! Season 1, Episode 5, we also have some new characters. Miss Marvel will be central to the series and she will most probably join Peter Parker, Scott Lang, and T’Challa who are on their way to Wakanda.

The insider report also confirmed that there will be a total of 4 episodes but the length of each episode is unknown. “In terms of more mature animation, yeah, we’re making a Marvel Zombies show right now that is pretty intense that’s for sure a TV-MA show.” Brad Winderbaum said in an interview with IGN.

Marvel Zombies doesn’t have any release date yet but we can expect it to be announced or talked about during the SDCC in July or Disney Plus Day 2024.
