Just as the final episode of Season 1 aired in Japan, the official accounts for Delicious in Dungeon announced that a second season is officially happening. They even served up a brand-new visual and trailer to whet our appetites!

The announcement has left fans eagerly anticipating more of the adventurous and culinary journey of Laios and his party. However, the release date for Season 2 hasn’t been revealed yet.

In case you need a refresher, Delicious in Dungeon is based on the popular manga by Ryoko Kui. The anime’s first season was directed by Yoshihiro Miyajima at studio TRIGGER, with Kimiko Ueno handling the series composition, Naoki Takeda crafting the character designs, and Yasunori Mitsuda composing the music.
The series follows young adventurer Laios and his companions as they embark on a mission to rescue a fallen comrade from the depths of a dungeon. The twist? They decide to survive by cooking and eating the monsters they encounter along the way! From slimes to basilisks to even dragons, nothing is off the menu for these daring dungeon gourmands.
