The Hashira Training Arc of the Demon Slayer anime series is set to receive a special extension, with the final two episodes getting longer time slots and a theatrical screening in Japan.
Following the recent airing of episode six, it was announced via the official Demon Slayer Twitter account and website that the concluding episodes of the arc will be given expanded time slots. Episode seven will be aired in a 40-minute slot on Fuji TV, while episode eight, the arc’s finale, will be allocated a full 60 minutes.
In addition to the extended episodes, fans in Japan will have the opportunity to experience the excitement on the big screen. The final two episodes will be screened theatrically at TOHO Cinema Shinjuku, providing an immersive experience for enthusiasts.

Furthermore, a special talk featuring select members of the series’ cast will be held after the screening of episode eight, giving fans insights into the production and behind-the-scenes stories. This talk will also be streamed live on Aniplex’s YouTube channel for global viewership.
Tickets for the theatrical screening and talk will be available through a lottery system starting on June 24, ensuring fairness in distribution.
